The cycle way is the former Dunfermline to Alloa railway.
The route surface is tarmac making it friendly to those in wheelchairs, on horse and family’s alike.
The route snakes it way through the countryside and is a very pleasant and easy going stroll.
This walk is suitable for most walkers and a great one for summer. The route is ideal for our dog walks as we can make the distance suit the time that we have been allocated. There are also plenty of variations we can add in to suit the needs of the dogs.
Some of our dogs may love a long walk, whilst there are others that may prefer running and playtime. For the energetic dogs we use the enclosed parks in the surrounding area to burn off some energy.
One of the parks that we do use for this is West End Park in Alloa. Most will know this park more for its Sparks in the Park event that takes place yearly to celebrate Fireworks night or for its yearly Fun Fair.
